Women Trained Since Inception
Project Brij-Nipun:
Every year, over a thousand women embark on a transformative journey of skill acquisition and empowerment through a diverse array of training programs. These programs cover a spectrum of creative disciplines, ranging from the intricate craftsmanship of handmade deity articles and clay work to the delectable art of baking and chocolate making.
Women engage in the delicate art of freehand painting, delve into the intricacies of mehndi and nail art, and enhance their digital literacy skills. The curriculum extends beyond artistic pursuits to encompass essential life skills, including personal grooming and cooking.
Each participant becomes a canvas for their newfound talents, painting a brighter and more self-reliant future. These initiatives not only hone artistic abilities but also foster a sense of community, encouraging women to support and uplift each other. The impact resonates far beyond the confines of the training room, contributing to a wave of empowered individuals who carry their skills, confidence, and camaraderie into the broader tapestry of life.

Girls Benefited Every Year
Radhakrishna Poshak Making Training :
The “World Bank Aided UP Pro-Poor Tourism Development Project” successfully concluded its mission to empower Radha-Krishna poshak artisans in Mathura. Over 30 days, 125 artisans were trained at Barat Ghar, Gauranagar Colony, Vrindavan, enhancing their skills in poshak design, fabric preparation, cutting, sewing, and embellishing.
The project achieved a delicate balance between preserving traditional techniques and incorporating modern manufacturing, providing a pathway for commercial viability.
The program’s impact is evident in the empowerment of women, preservation of cultural heritage, and the creation of economic opportunities within the Radha-Krishna poshak industry. The dual focus on skill enhancement and a market-oriented approach equips artisans to contribute meaningfully to the local economy.
Challenges included maintaining quality control and optimizing costs, highlighting areas for future improvement. Moving forward, lessons learned will guide future initiatives, ensuring a holistic approach to skill development and economic empowerment. The completion of this project marks a significant step toward sustaining traditional crafts while fostering economic growth in the Mathura district.

Artisans Trained in 30 Days
Royal Sanjhi Art Training:
Our program extends specialized training in the exquisite Royal Sanjhi Art to groups from government schools and colleges. This traditional form of paper stenciling, which originated in the temples of Mathura, involves learning intricate techniques to create delicate patterns and designs that tell stories from Indian mythology and folklore.
Under the guidance of skilled artisans, students gain a deep understanding of the cultural significance and meticulous craftsmanship involved in Sanjhi Art. By engaging young minds from educational institutions, we aim to preserve this valuable heritage while empowering the next generation with a unique artistic skill that they can cherish and share.
